Just to add a bit of information to my solution:<br />
- kyte.tv has a 100mb limitation on uploaded file size (about 10 minutes of video, similar to YouTube).<br />
- LiveCast seems promising, but the video stream was not very high quality in my one brief test.<br />

Another solution I've discovered involves a combination of open source products:<br />
- VLC client<br />
- IceCast server<br />

We are in the process of getting a test set up for the VLC/IceCast combination. If that works, I'd say that is the best way to go (provided you have server space).
