Device Ownership Password to connet to D link wifi router - with intel pro set

Hello,

I recently installed a D-link router as an access point and my computer connects to it just fine .....it only prompts me for the security passphrase.

However the other laptop which has an intel proset wireless card is asking for a device ownership password.....that it says should be located on the device.

I am not sure what it really is asking me for or why because the same laptop with the proset card connects to airports, other secure wifi connections only using the passprhase.

Is their anyway to make it connect.....like some kind of setting on the router or is this on the laptop side?

Thanks! I modified the laptop.

Excellent. This fixed the issue where a user couldn't even type in the password field.
