We have a LaserJet 5200 printer connected to our network. It is mapped to our Windows server and from there it is shared and listed in the directory. On the server the printer status is showing Out of Paper even though both trays are loaded properly. The printer itself display the Ready msg. I cant get anything to print because the server thinks it is out of paper. Any ideas?

Just to get the easy stuff out of the way first have you double triple checked that you are using the right driver? What driver are you using exactly?

Try to restart the print spooler service from the server just to see if that does the trick.

It was the spooler svc. I should have thought of that but it's been one of those days! Thanks!
