I need to embed a .flv/.swf file from one server onto another server hosting a different website.

Hello, I have some .flv/.swf files on a server which I have admin access to, and I need to embed the videos on a squarespace (www.squarespace.com) site I'm creating (Squarespace is a web hosting company). I have very limited bandwidth and space for the site and don't want to waste it on hosting the video myself. The server the videos are on is not a video hosting service like youtube and I just can't get the video to embed on the other page. Is this actually possible to do? I've linked the code I have been trying to use (Without the actual web addresses). The important facts to take from these details are that the videos I want to embed are not on the same server as the webpage, and the server they are on is not a video hosting service. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Hello,

I tried as-is the code you posted with a SWF sample from another website, embedding it to my own site, and it worked. Try code below if you want (all I changed is SWF source URL).

If I'm not wrong you use scripts in your SWF, check them as the error might be there (perhaps retrieving the swf source url variable, etc.)
