menu displaying over google map

Hi - I have the following situation where a basic css/js hover menu is being hidden behind a google map - because the map is in an iframe. The problem is that the normal solution of putting a negative z-index on the iframe wont work because then the infoWindow markers won't be clickable....

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Accepted Solution

    You have to set z-index on pop-up to a higher level.

    I guess you tried it, but here's what's the best method.

    #nav UL{
    	z-index: 100; /* Add this line in the current CSS */
    And remove the inline CSS [style="z-index: 100"] for in HTML with UL,
    and make it:
    <UL id=nav>
    It's not needed here as it's not doing anything.

    Open in new window

    Sorry for the delay - I missed the forest there.
