Body of email fails to print out

When printing out emails the body of the message fails to print.
Printing to a local USB printer however also fails on networked printers.
The sender details, header, etc does however print.
HP dc7800 SFF PC running XP Pro SP3, Microsoft Office XP with SP3.
All MS updates installed.
All HP updates (Bios, etc updated)
Default printer is a HP 1020 LaserJet, Other networked printers HP 4050n.
I can print roughly 1 of 10 emails in my inbox however there is nothing obviously different between them.
Word is being used as the email editor however turning this off has made no difference.
Office has been re-installed and roaming profile re-created with no difference.

Are you using the Symantec anti spam filter?  If so uninstall it, don't just turn it off, and the issue goes away.

As a short quick fix, try hitting forward, the body of the mail shows up and you can print it.
