I recently Migrated a Job Board website from an online server to a local server within the company as it was really slow. Once i migrated the website i set everything right .

THere is a login screen, I log in and the LOGIN works fine , which means that the databse is configured right.

Once i login when i try to View Candidates(Lots of records) I get the follwoing error.

"Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
Error while processing your query, please retry your search !"

I changed the coonection string timeout property and all but nothing worked.

What im unable to understand that when the site was online it used to TIMEOUT ocassionally But when I migrated it to a local server It Timesout all the time.

On some suggestions i checked the SQL LOG and found this error:

A fatal error occurred during a full-text population and caused the population to be cancelled. Population type is: FULL; database name is IFTS (id: 8); catalog name is MessageCatalog (id: 5); table name Messages (id: 2105058535). Fix the errors that are logged in the full-text crawl log. Then, resume the population. The basic Transact-SQL syntax for this is: ALTER FULLTEXT INDEX ON table_name RESUME POPULATION.

I have enabled FDLHost etc....

I just dont seem to figure out whats happening

What do you mean by ID column. Do you mean PK. Well, i didntr design the database . It was designed by another developer. But the whole problem is that it works OK when its online but in local host i get the errors i mentioned above.
