how to get url of application on web server

I have two applications on webserver that are as follows

/internalApp    www.internalApp.com

/externalApp    www.externalApp com

I need to get the URL of externalApp via code from the internalApp.  Normally if I was in the same app I would use

FULLPATH = Request.Url.GetLeftPart(UriPartial.Authority) + Request.ApplicationPath

However how would I do this so I can get the FULLPATH of externalApp when in the internalApp

I'm assuming you know the url of external app and want to know its full path, working from the url?

Almost certainly security will prevent you doing this directly.

Would you be able to put something in externalapp which would respond to internalapp?  I mean a page in externalapp which will 'respond' with its full path when accessed by internalapp?

Yes I see.

If think I could just hardcode the "externalApp" bit onto the

Request.Url.GetLeftPart(UriPartial.Authority)
