"How do you lock the Desktop properties so that everyone does not do their own changes to the desktop?"

I am having a computer laboratory of 40 computers, and everyone who comes make their own changes to the wallper or background, and screen saver. So I want to lock the desktop so that users don't have access to changing those. How do I do it?
