Getting a "catastrophic failure" when trying to connect to a Sybase 11 database via ADO in ASP webpage. I'm able to query the db from within Sql Advantage. I've tried both DSN and DSNless connection strings.  This code worked on the previous server, both servers are Win2003 with IIS 6.0.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
'DSN Connection
'set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
'objConn.open "DSN=SERVER;UID=userid;Pwd=password"

'DSNless connection
set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
objConn.open "Driver={SYBASE SYSTEM 11};Srvr=SERVER;Uid=userid;Pwd=password"

Did you check for a connectionstring at http://www.connectionstrings.com ?
Do you have the right drivers installed?

I got it, I loaded new drivers and I'm up and running. Still rather fussy but it's getting there, still some occasional buflen = cs_unused
