I want to buy a Internal DVD writer for my Dell Latitude D630 laptop.
Can any one suggest a good DVD writer that can burn to DVD formats like
DVD+R, DVD-R DVD-DL etc...

I am not looking for Blue Ray support because it will be too expensive.

Got to agree with jdcomp! I just bought (like ten minutes ago) an external one for a D630 from newegg. Easily the best computer part buying shop!

OK I can go to the website, but how do I check if it is compatible with my laptop.

It is about as fast as you are going to get with a DVD +/- RW burner. Pretty cheap too!

When it comes to laptops you may be better, budget wise, with an external burner.

all internal DVD or CD for laptops are have a standar connetion, sometimes wen the notebook has a different connector the manufacture in your case DELL most likely has an adapter installed.

If that is you case then remove the adapter from the oe you are taking out and place it in the new one
