How does "publish database wizard" in MS SQL 2008 works?

Any examples? Any screendumps?

I'm not a DBA so please any answers must a little userfriendly :)

    It generates scripts to create each object in your database and then executes them on a target server. Whether that's useful or not depends on what kind of change control and deployment methods you want to use. I don't think the publish wizard supports true incremental releases (altered columns, constraints, etc).
