WinXP Pro Sychronization Issue

I have a user that has a laptop.  User undocks his laptop and makes changes to his files or creates new files.  When he comes back to his desk he docks his station and when the Synchronize goes or is being forced the sync comes back with an error stating that access it denied.

If the user logs off the network the files get synced ok to the network.

Hi zito2000,

I had a few users with the same issue. I basically fixed it by disabling uncheckking "Make Available Offline" on the folder in question, then I cleared out all the Shadow copies on the local system, then disabled "Offline Files" all together, restarted the system and re-enabled "Offline Files" and enable "Make Available Offline"on the folder again.

Note: Sometimes it can be a real pain actually being successful in the deletion of the "Shadow Files" (local copies of the network files). If you run into an issue with this let me know as I wrote a registry key to clear them out.

I will try the syncback Application and get back to you.

Thanks
Works very well

Thanks.
Just curious, how much per seat for the SyncBack?
And is the free version for home use only?
TDKD:
From the SyncBack website:

"100% Freeware from 2BrightSparks

Our freeware is free for personal, educational, charity, government, and commercial use.

" No Spyware, Trojans, Viruses, or Advertisements
" No Nag Screens
" No Registrations

"

As for pricing in the paid version, there are different packages available for the paid version, depending on what features you require.
Thanks MrJemson, I will investigate for a few of my clients.
