Dynex Router Configuration

I recently moved my modem and router to another location in my apartment.  I have 2 laptops and an XBOX 360.  Before the move, all 3 of these devices would work at the same time.  My router is not wireless, I use ethernet cables to connect everything.  After the move, only my one laptop works (the one I am on right now).  The other two devices will not connect.

I try to go to the router configuration page http://192.168.0.1/ to check the MAC filtering and DHCP settings but it says "Connection Interupted - The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." .

My actual device is a DYNEX DX-E402 10/100M Router.  Anyone have any idea what I can do to see the configuration page and resolve this problem?  Could it be some other address?

Go the other laptop, and go to start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig
it should get an ip address of 192.168.0.x
and the default gateway should be the Dynex router (192.168.0.1)
See if you can then ping the gateway, if not try swapping the ethernet cable as well.
Also try using a different web browser to access 192.168.0.1

It sounds like you have done everything so far.  WIth many consumer grade devices such as yours, have you tried resetting the device? Just backup your configuration first and then try.

Does the other laptop get the appropriate ip address?

How do I tell if the other laptop is getting the appropriate laptop.

All the help sites say to go to the router configuration page but I can't get to it at the address http://192.168.0.1.

So you have internet connectivity but you cannot access your router's config pages correct?

If so I think that you should perform a reset of your device and see if it resolves your issue.

Turns out my default gateway was 192.168.1.1 .  So I used that to get to my Dynex configuration http://192.168.1.1 .
