How to fix printing freezing from laptop to pc that has Hp laserjet 1020 shared?

Hi There,

I recently setup a new HP pc with windows xp sp2 loaded and an HP Laserjet 1020 printer connected via USB.  I can print fine from this computer to this printer.  I shared the printer and installed it using network printer on a laptop on my lan and everytime i setup a print job from the laptop the just sits in the queue and holds up all jobs.  And whats even more strange is when I reboot the computer the print job finally comes through.  Does anyone know why this is happening or know of a fix?
Oh and the laptop is also windows xp sp2

Thanks

Mike

Ya but its not the print jobs are stuck in queue after i reboot.  And why does printing from the laptop through the network just sit in queue.  I mean i can clear the queue and try again and again it will freeze.  But if i print direct from the computer thats attached directly using usb it prints no problem.???  Any ideas.  I'm looking for a fix that will allow the laptop user to print all the time to this printer without problems or me having to clear the queue.

thanks
