Keep getting prompted that Quick Time is out of date
After a recent update of iTunes/Quick Time on my XP PC, I get prompted everytime I try starting either iTunes or Quick Time with the following:
Some of your Quick Time software is out of date. You can fix this problem by updating to the latest version
My choices are Cancel or Do It Now. I have tried Do It Now but nothing happens and the next time either iTunes or Quick Time is launched, the same prompt occurs again. I have removed Quick Time, deleted the Quick Time folder under Program Files, deleted the Quick Time registry keys, restarted the PC and then downloaded and reinstalled the latest version of Quick Time but to no avail. Any suggestions?
