VPN not allowing access to Internet

We have a Windows 2003 x64 server that controls Routing and Remote Access.
Our Watchguard Firebox x550e system passes al traffic to this server.
Things have been playing up for a while since a powercut. These symptoms include random users being unable to access resources on the network- Outlook and storage server.
Others will be okay- completley random.
Today however access to the resources seem okay but we have no internet access when connected to the vpn. Disconnect and all okay, so it seems to be something to do with the vpn connection, but i do not know where to start looking?

I think i know the reason why this is happening- The deafult gateway is not being provided to vpn clients.

However, i have re-run the Routing and Remote Access wizard and checked the Local Area Connection settings and all the settings seem ok.
