Recently people working in Outlook 2007 on our Citrix server have been having a problem when doing certain simple tasks.

The program seems to crash out for a few users, not all, when they select the outlook properties of an address, or they send a meeting request or other general address list related tasks.

I am unable to recreate the error using my account but we have tried another administrator account which does cause Outlook to crash.

A comment from one of my users
"This is now happening to Dicky too.  He tried to amend an existing appointment and the same crash occurred.
It also occurs when right-clicking on a name in the "TO" or "CC" fields when composing an email.  The context menu appears and before you can click a selection (ie copy, paste, clear etc) Outlook crashes"

If this only happens for some users i would guess it has something to do with the profile.
Citrix is not good with profiles and often that is where the problem is.

Try with a user that is having the problem.

Rename his profile on the server.
Then  log him on and he will get a new profile.
Check if the problem is still there

Some more background. we have two offices, London and Cape Town with thier own  Exchange Servers. Our Citrix Server is in London and connects to both offices Exchange servers. This problem is only evident in our London office, the users with mailboxes on our Cape Town Exchange server are fine.

To comment on your answer, I have already tried that. I even created a totally new user and mailbox on the London Exchange server and this problem was evident.
I have the same exact setup in Citrix and have a couple users that this has started to happen to as well.  Of course one is the CEO of the company.  I've tried giving them a new profile as well and the same thing occured.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?  I receive the same error on the event log on the server that they did too...

We have sorted the problem. The issue was due to a .Net framework 3.5 update insstalled on the Exchange server, we logged a ticket with Microsoft who then uninstalled the update and applied another patch. All is working fine now.
