Is my computer to slow for ISA Server?

Hi Guys

I have a problem. Im running ISA 2004 on a AMD 4200. 2GB Memory. 2 GBIT Nics.

I have an exchange server, a barracuda, a Webserver on the inside. It is running slow, i can only download with 500kb from my webserver, eventhough the connection is a 25mbit fiber. My internet provider tells me that i never use more than 7.2mbit. Can my computer that isa server is running on simply be to slow?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you confirm where you are downloading from and also what speeds you are getting when you set one of your machine to not use the ISA server e.g. remove the proxy settings from internet explorer?

If i take my computer at home, which can download with 858kb per second. It does from almost everysite, which have enough bandwidth ofcourse. I never get over 500kb from my home connection downloading from the webserver, that is located behind the isa server, at work.

There is no proxy or anything like that at my home.

However , to determine the donload speed , you should divide the actual speed you have into 8

what do you mean with divide it into 8 ? If i have a 25mbit connection with no usage, i should be able to download with my full bandwidth from home, which is. 858kb.

I have solved it. It was the PMTU
