I get a FAILURE SECURITY OPTIONS message that crashes my system

I'm running VIst Premium on a Dell XPS and just recently, after adding a wireless network, and changing to VIPRE anti-spyware, have been getting an error message, listed above.
My system then goes to a black screen.

Ensure that you are not using more than one antivirus solution at the same time:

That is, if you are using VIPRE now (you said you changed from another software) you must first uninstall the anti-virus software you were using previously.

I would recommend that you uninstall all your anti-virus software, download CCleaner from http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ and then reinstall only the VIPRE.

I hope that helps.
Sorry I wasn't clear. After uninstalling all the anti-virus software, download and run the CCleaner, making sure that you delete all your temporary files and registry dead-ends. I recommend that you back up the registry before deleting (it should be an option in CCleaner).

After running CCleaner, then reinstall the VIPRE.
