How do I run a .aspx page automatically?

I need to run a .aspx page after certain time interval, just like what CRON do in Linux server. Can any one suggest me how should I proceed? If any one provides me some example code that would be helpful for me.

How are you "running" it?  (IE just hitting a webpage or what?)

I need to run it automatically from the system, not manually hitting the URL in browser

understood, but what does running the page mean to you?  Are you submitting a form?  Are you just hitting a page?  (EG: create a scheduled task that opens up internet explorer and goes to that page?)

etc.

If the page is scheduled to run automatically It will get browsed in IE inside u r server... As ASPX page opens or exucuted in browser only.... so if you can be a bit more clear u can get to the solution...

Does the site needs to be browsed automatically and nothing else... that too u need to understand that once the schedule is done...the page will open in a browser and the next schudule will also opne the page afresh...so the old one has to be closed from browser...

clarity needed.. ;-)

Download  Wget
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wget.htm

And add this line in schedule jobs..Run Area and schedule to run it as per your time durations...

wget 'http://domain.com/file.aspx'
