Outlook2003 .ost file becomes corrupt

Hello Experts,

We recently migrated from Exchange5.5 to Exchange2003.
I have 1 user currently that is having difficulty with Exchange cache mode on their PC. The microsoft mailbox cleanup tool keeps poping up when he opens Outlook after enabling exchange cache mode.
Formerly the user didn't use cache mode on Exchange5.5 because their mailbox is 22GB in size. We only enabled cache mode to resolve an Advanced Email Find (Shift+Ctrl+F) problem. Now we run into an exchange cache problem. ANSI .ost files have a 2GB limit but UNICODE are supposed to have a 30GB limit.
This user is management and any type of non single searchable location - archiving is not an option.
I need a solution...

Thanks flyingsky, I'll take that into consideration for the user once I get the .ost file size problem solved.
