I accidentally installed the NTDS log for my DC on a RAID drive that is used only for user profiles, backup, etc...

I mean to install it on the separate partition (d:) i created on the System Drive (c:) for logs only. How can i safely move this?

    Accepted Solution

    Stop NTDS service
    Start ntdsutil command
At ntdsutil prompt, enter 'activate instance ntds'
Enter 'files' to enter the file maintenance menu.
Enter 'move logs to D:\NTDS' or similar path.
Exit ntdsutil and start the services again.
