I am trying to install oracle 10 on Fedora 10 and I receive the following message when I try to run ./runInstaller

./runInstaller: /home/oracle/Download/database/install/.oui: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

How do I fix this issue?  Please advise

I belive you got some ^M in your files from the FTP.
If you don't want to re-ftp your files in a junk-safe way you can use dos2unix.

A good way is to zip/gzip the files. Binary FTP mode is preferable.

Have you read this one?

Perhaps you would get more accurate answers if the question was in the Linux zone as well.

Great!
What I meant by the link was..
Did you check that you have ld-linux.so.2 in your $LD_LIBRARY_PATH?

I was able to fix the problem.  I start the installation over again, downloaded all the patches and I am no longer getting this error and oracle is now installed.
