When I double-click on &quot;Activity Monitor,&quot; it looks like it's opening, but it doesn't. &nbsp;On advice of something I found on line, I checked the Console, saw this error message:<br />

Finder tool: request to change uid to 0 gid to -1 for /Applications/Utilities/Ac<wbr />tivity Monitor.app<br />
2009-02-14 08:55:38.601 Activity Monitor[363] The tool is not setuid root - please repair the privileges<br />

What is this asking me to do, and how do I do it?<br />

Activity Monitor won't open (MacOS 10.4.11)
