Dual Language Keyboard switching issue

Hi Experts,

I have an application which runs on a Greek system. THe enter information using the Greek Alphabet as well as English. After my addin has run, the Greek keyboard won't start typing in Greek (nothing shows on the screen) until a full stop (.) or space is entered - then it works fine.

The addin is in Outlook using Word as its editor - and I got no responses in the Outlook forum - so I am wondering of any Word Experts have seen this or know what might cause this.

My VB6 addin seems to be setting something behind the scenes but I'm not sure what.

What Add-In are you using to change the languages?
Is this a custom Add-In, a 3rd party Add-In or a Microsoft Add-In?

First check that you have the latest Office Service Pack Installed:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e25b7049-3e13-433b-b9d2-5e3c1132f206&DisplayLang=en

Then also check that the Regional Settings are correct
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Regional and Language Options>Languages Tab>Details>
Check the default input language.
Also check that you have the appropriate Language Services installing in the lower box.

Might also check the Key Settings
Since you are running an Add-In to switch the Languages you might need to set all these to none.
Or if you add in is using a key sequence to change the languages back and forth make sure that they match.
