Hi I have a PSP SLim modified version and I am having trouble getting it to connect to my computer via USB.I am running xp pro and I am using a program called PSP MAx media manager Pro to transfer files and music to my psp.The software tells me that it cannot find or can't detect the PSP.Could you please tell me what might be the problem?Do I need to get drivers for this device?Your help will be greatly appreciated...Thanks......

You don't need drivers.
Have you got anything in the memory slot?  If so have you checked that it is formatted correctly?

On your PSP see if disabling the Power by USB option will help.

System Settings
USB Charge

If this does not help, then you may want to check in your CMOS/BIOS of your computer. Many BIOS have a setting that says "Operating System uses Plug N Play"
