How can I view audit logs on a client computer from a server 2003

I cannot view the client audit logs from a server 2003.  I can manager the clients, see and open the shares but when I attempt to view Event viewer, I get the following

unable to connect to the computer """" the network path is not found.  

I can see everything else but those logs.

Check that the Remote Registry service is running on the machine you are trying to connect to.

Also, try disabling windows firewall on the machine so you can know if this is casuing issues.
