just did a fresh install of windows 7 a week ago and then all the sudden I don't know what happened but I can see my task bar but I can't see any icons on my desktop or any gadgets
I can turn the desktop toolbar on and in the task bar click it and see all the icons that suppose to be on the desktop but I don't see them on the desktop itself

Hi!
I would like to know the following before I can answer your question:
#1. What graphicscard do you have?
#2. CPU?
#3. RAM?
#4. Where did you download the beta?

Or, you could try this first. Open My Computer and activate "Show hidden files and folders" for the root of all harddrives =)

Check this site: http://www.xp-tips.com/hide-desktop-icons.html
