Integrated Windows Authentication

Medium Priority
Last Modified: 2012-05-06
We enabled Integrated Windows Authentication to allow users to view our sites without the need of typing a username/password.
Is there any way that I can enable Integrated Windows Authentication and Anonymous authentication in IIS and have the same effect (no need to type username/password)?

no - that is because the web browser will only try to auth if the web server responds with an 'access denied' response.  If anonymous is enabled, then the web server will never issue that result.

But, you *can* have /some/ sub-directories with authentication-only and others anonymous if you want.  just set the relevant rights on each folder under the IIS manager.
