how to change password of  schema/user

I would like to change the password of created schema/user. I am working with oracle 10g on windows vista OS machine. Earlier I created user identified by specific password and granted all privileges to it. Now i want to change the password to some thing else. Can I do it. If yes how can i do it. Any syntax, links, resources highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    You can login using sys/system account and then issue the following command in sqlplus:

    alter user <user_id> identified by <new_passwd>;

    Then you should be able to login using user_id/new_passwd.
