How to pass multi-value parameter to Oracle Report

Hi Experts

I want to pass a multi value paremeter from Oracle form to Oracle Report

how can i do that ??

    You can only pass date, number or char-variables to reports, but
    no arrays (i suppose that's what meant by multi value parameter)).
    The workaround for this is to work with a table as interface.
    (You fill the table in the calling application, give some unique
    number for your records in the table and pass this number to
    reports, reports only fetches those from the table that have
    the passed number, so you can be sure that reports running at the
    same time don't interfere with each other)

    the other solution is to concatenate all yours parameters with a separator in one single parameter, and split it in the before report trigger.

    could you give us an example of what you want to do with your multi-values parameter ?

    do you want to use it in a Sql restriction ?
