RADIUS authentication

Hello
Im trying to use a Radius server (coinnected to  active directory) to authenticate
some users that needs to use  a special  service  of the  firewall....

My  fortigate 310 has a page that  can autenticate using  a radius server....
all works ok if the  user is a VPN user (on active  directory)
but i can't authenticate  any  user that is not  a vpn user.

Any solution to authenticate all the users ?

thanks

Do you have any errors appearing in your server event viewer logs that relate to Radius users?

What about logs on your Fortigate for Raduis?  Anything?  It would seem to me that it is your fortigate that maybe having trouble performing lookups.

Unfortunately is the same if turn off the fortigate and use a wireless access point....

the radius server only authenticate users with  "vpn" access

Try this this application http://www.sharewareconnection.com/radius-test.htm

Use this to test and see if it is really your Raduis implementation that has an issue or if it is your Fortigate appliance that is having trouble communicating with your Radius infrastructure.
