You can do this with a GPO.

Go under Computer Config > AdminTempletes > Windows Componets > Windows updates.

Chose the option No auto-restart for scheduled automatic updates and enable it.

Dear William,
Please explain it in details.
do you use gpo ?
edit the target group policy through gpmc.msc
start, run, gpmc.msc
as William wrote:
go to Computer Config > AdminTemplates > Windows Componets > Windows updates
and set option
No auto-restart for scheduled automatic updates to ON, minding that you have to also set option
automatic updates configuration (3rd option from the top of the list) to ON (enabled)
First question would be how much experance do you have with group policy objects (GPO's)?

Click Start and go to Run.

type in gpedit.msc and hit enter.

Then what I posted before Go under Computer Config > Admin Templetes > Windows Componets > Windows updates.

Chose the option No auto-restart for scheduled automatic updates and enable it.

If you have no experance with policys let me know and I will add info for that, or is thier someone there that deals with the group policys.
