Thanks for your suggestions but I do need a tool that can connect to the remote site, download the contents i.e. all folders and files. When the files are stored on the NAS, it has to keep the same folder structure as the source.<br />

Are you trying to upload to the ftp site or to download from the site? wget is used for download while wput for upload and both supports ftp
