Intermittent problem-Cust reporting the 30.01.18 error, event log shows both errors. &nbsp;I have checked cables, updated the firmware, replaced the jet direct card, scanner controller board, and the formatter board. &nbsp;Cust says they are uncertain exactly when the unit errors our or what causes it to fail. &nbsp;They don't seem to have any problems when they print to the unit. &nbsp;It will be displaying the 30.01.18 when they walk up to the unit to do a copy, fax, etc. but the display will show the error before they start the copy or fax procedure. &nbsp;Cust will power off/on &amp;&nbsp;unit is good for a while. &nbsp;All suggestions welcome. &nbsp;thanks, jerry

HP Laserjet 4101 errors 30.01.18 and 30.00.01

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Printers and Scanners

A peripheral device is defined as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer (i.e., the memory and microprocessor). These auxiliary devices are intended to be connected to the computer and used in conjunction with it. Examples of external peripherals include mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor, external Zip drive or scanner, while internal peripherals include CD-ROM drive, CD-R drive or internal modem. Today's new devices, such as tablets, smartphones and wearable computing devices are considered peripherals as they can be connected and used on a computer system. The difference, however, is that these devices can run independently of the computer system.
