I was hoping to install CAD 09 x64 on my W2K8 x64 running Xenapps or Terminal server. I know this is not a supported setup but I was wondering if anyone out there has successfully managed to set it up? I get an error - 1603 when I install CAD 09 in Xenapps.

    Accepted Solution

Looking at the Autodesk forums, it seems that installing the product on any server with Terminal Services installed causes this error.

    Found this:

You want to know if a hosted operating system is a supported environment for Autodesk® software.

Autodesk® products are not supported on hosted operating systems. Common hosted operating systems include:

    Citrix MetaFrame application server software
    Windows terminal services

Looks like they are preventing the software from installing in an unsupported configuration.
