We have a Brother DCP-330C printer/scanner and Netgear ps121 v2 print server all set up and working fine all pc's can print with no problems, but the problem is when the scan button on the printer is pressed the LCD just says 'connecting to pc....' and thats it, is it possible to get this to scan over the network to a folder on the server? It has the option to scan to folder and works fine via USB, but we need it working over the print server. Any ideas ?   :)

    Accepted Solution

MFPs will not scan via a printserver. The low-cost ones need to be connected directly to a PC; if the MFP has a network interface then it can scan to one or more PCs, or to email.

The way to make this work with the Brother would be to connect it via USB to a shared folder on a PC. Then other users can get the scans from that PC.
