Problem with Trend Office scan client
I have a problem on a pc's when i am trying to run a manual scan using trend anti virus version 5.58
After about 20 seconds into the scan i get an error message saying "PCCNT has encountered a problem and needs to close." i have tried a full manual uninstall, which included removing parts of registry and hives; before installing latest Windows updates then reinstalling it from scratch but this makes no difference. I have also tried updating with the latest tred virus and spyware defenitions updates but still no luck
The scan worked fine in past but has just recently started acting up. I want to avoid reformatting if possible and the problem is not specifically profile related as i have tried it in several profiles on that machine.
I have run a online virus scan (pandasecurity)and also a anti malware program (malwarebytes anti-malware) which revealed no problems. Just seems this PCCNT process keeps closing down for no obvious reason
Thanks in anticapation

Is there another antivirus or security program on the computer while you are running this scan? If so, either remove them or disable them.

Thanks for the reply
No there is nothing bar the Trend one mate. The ones i used were put on after the problem to see if there were any malware etc that was disabling or causing the PCCNT process to cease
