Smartport setting for Polycom
I have a Cisco Catalyst 3570 series switch that is connected to desktops, printers, ip phones, and a polycom. I have begun implementing the Cisco Smartports but am not sure what to do for the polycom. Does anyone have any suggestions on port settings for the polycom?
Polycom IP phones have CDP enabled by default, and use IP Precedence 5. If you use the Cisco Phone macro, it should work fine. Your DHCP settings for the Voice VLAN should also account for FTP (Option 150) so that the phones can connect to either your FTP server, or your ISP, to provision itself.

I apologize i should have mentioned that its a Polycom VSX5000 Video Conferencing unit not an IP phone.
