Dreamweaver Problemf

I've been using Dreamweaver for about a year.  I resenlty ran into a problem.  I made a page up in PS and created slices.  I loaded the slices into DW.  When I try to create a hotspot on one of the slices, the entire slice becomes a hotspot, not the portion of it I want.  It has always worked before?  What am I doing wrong here?

Hi fratzke,

What are you doing to declare the hotspot?

I'm using the pointer hot spot tool to place a rectangle on the word that I want to make a link to.

Hmm.

Can you post a link or the source code for me to look at?

I've given up and not using slices, so it works.  Thanks for your time anyway.
