Hello Experts,
I have a situation where I have to connect one HP MSL2024 tape library to 2 servers (active passive nodes, it is a windows 2003 cluster setup). Initially it was planned to connect only one server and we bought tape library with SAS connector where I can connect only one node. Now the manager wants to get it connected to both nodes in cluster. One of the options I have is to by two HBA cards, connect to fiber switch and connect tape library to switch. But the problem is I am not getting concrete answer on SAS to fiber drive for MSL2024. I tried calling hp but getting different answers from different department. Does anyone know how can I MSL2024-SAS to both nodes in cluster? If you have come across such situation and come out with solution kindly let me know. By the way I am using Veriatas Netbackup 6.5 as backup software.
Thank you
