Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 Co-Existing with XenApp 5.0 on Win 2008

Medium Priority
Last Modified: 2012-05-06
Hi All,

I currently have a Windows 2003 Server running Presentation Server 4.5 on a Virtual Machine (ESX), I want to deploy a XenApp 5.0 Server on Windows Server 2008 on a new Physical Box. Network is just One Windows 2003 Active Directory domain, around 35 users, downtime on the current server is hard to get.

What is my best way forward? Can they Co-Exist in the same Farm? Use the same license server etc?

Yes they can co-exist and use the same license server.

Citrix does not recommend you have two different versions running for very long.

The license server will need to be version 11.5.
