VPN - DNS resolution not working

Hi,

we have the following problem
Client (XP) connects to VPN. The PPTP device gets the correct IP adress and dns server entries.
When I try to make a nslookup then I does not get the answer from the DNS provided by the VPN I get it from the local router.
Any idea?

Here is the Ip configuration and the result from nslookup i get when i am connected to VPN:

I tried already to add the DNS to the PPP Adapter but it will be the same. When I add the DNS Server to the wireless adapter it is working, but that is not a solution for me.
Changin the priority in the advanced settings menu is also not working I tried it. I have the same problem when I use the LAN adapter.
I found in the internet that this is a known problem related to the provider with Generic Route Encapsulation. Do you have any other ideas?

Do you have a route to 172.23.0.106 via the DNZ Tunnel?

In the end to solve this problem we had to Deploy our VPN settings to all users in the company. We did so using the MS Connection Manager. This question can now be closed.

Thanks!
