Xcode won't start up after changing the company name

New to the Mac and just working through a book on objective C, everything was going well until it told me to write this to the terminal:

defaults write com.apple.XCode PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions '{"ORGANIZATIONNAME" = "company";}'

Ever since then XCode won't start up, instead i get:

"The application Xcode quit unexpectedly"

I've tried reinstalling with no luck as well as deleting com.apple.Xcode.plist

No joy!

Anyone shed some light so i can get moving again.

Many thanks

Do you mean:

defaults write com.apple.Xcode PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions '{ "ORGANIZATIONNAME" = "company" ; }'

(Xcode with a small C)?

Have a look in ~/Library/Preferences/ for com.apple.Xcode (or com.apple.XCode)...Can you open them in the ProperyListEditor?

Also, did "company" include any odd characters?
