Hello. I'm trying to install a certain Java MIDP-2.0 application on symbian OS. OS is 2nd edition feature pack 3 English version. When I try to open and install the .jar file, it gives an error.
On the emulator it says: "Not enough disk space! Cannot install!"
On Nokia N72 it says "Unable to install. Not enough memory"
However is it displays this message before asking where to install the application (phone memory or memory card).
It is a certain application I am tryin to run on the handset, and it runs on symbian 3rd editon and nokia s40 series handsets, and on emulators as well.

It may refer to RAM memory, not the storage memory (phone memory and card). Your phone may be unable to handle the application.

    Accepted Solution

Not enough memoryNot enough memory error was related to the insuff error was related to the insufficient persistent disk space. My MIDlet-Data-Size value was very high. I replaced the MIDlet-Data-Size value with a lower one from my .jad and manifest file and the problem was solved
