How can i force a vertical scroll bar in safari
Hi,
I have a site whose content depth varies page by page causing a scroll bar to appear and disappear as required (in browsers such as firefox and safari). this in turn causes centred content to jerk to the left and right as pages are looked through.
EXAMPLE: http://92.48.65.172/~col852/product_agency/scrap_book.php - use the small arrows in the pink to black fade bar at the top of the content to look through the images and you will see the undesriable effect
In firefox i have added the css line overflow: -moz-scrollbars-vertical; to the body tag that contains everything in order to force the appearance of an inactive scrollbar when content is shorter than the height of the screen, thus mimicking the behaviour of IE.
As the site is for a MAC using company, and the content is likely to be viewed by MAC users i need to know what I can use to force an inactive verticle scroll bar to appear in the safari browser also.
Cheers
