Linksys SPA3102 sending call from FXS to FXO channel if prefix is 0800

Say,

In Line 1 under dail string have:  |<0800x.<:@gw0>|
But call fails to go down PSTN(FXO) and goes connects to SIP provider.
If I put power off then the call does go down PSTN but need it to
I wish the call to not try the SIP route at all but simply go to the FXO line.
Any suggestions. Also is there a way to trace the call progress online?

Soem say that the FXO must be registered to SIP in order for the "PASSTHROUGH from fXS to FXO to work". I assume there is no truth in this?

could you ask for more explanation?
FXO (LINE port) should connect to (Analogue LINE from your telephone provider).
I assume you did it right as you could call using PSTN when the Linksys switch off.

According to the manual you could debug using syslog. But I've never tried that before.
Configuring it on voice, system

You might need to look at the logic of your whole dial plan.
And tell us how did you test dialing 0800x.
The dialplan will be executed consecutively from left to right.

Test it using fix number that you could dial to see if it is syntax fault or something else. like :
12345678<:@gw0> then dial 12345678
or
<9,:>xx.<:@gw0> then dial 9 0800 number what you want to test.

I think the issue is that the FXO line voltages etc. are not quite right for South Africa. Any suggestions as to how to debug?
