Program to allow users to install outlook plugin

We are running terminal services using 2003 and 2008.  Mxlogic cameout with a new plug in for outlook that allows users to mark emails as spam as they delete them. When I tried installing this plug in on the terminal server using 2008, the software will only install on the account that installs the plugin.  Is there a way to install this for all users, or to have them run the install without giving them admin rights?

You could have the users login, do remote assistance if you allow it, then use runas to run the plugin with elevated privileges. Alternatively, you could find out what change are made to the profile and registry and try to replicate those.

Is there a program that may automate the runas operation so I may send out a mass email with instructions?  There are some 30+ users and shadowing their sessions may not be the most efficient way to go.

You COULD, but you would need to include an admin password in the script. Maybe create a temporary user account, give it admin rights locally, then delete/remove admin rights after the update?

Correct, we would have to create a temp account and then remove it.  Do you know of any programs that would allow this?

None that I'm aware of. You would create the account, give it local server (as opposed to domain) admin rights, let them install it, then remove the account. If you did it in a batch file, then the password would be in the clear text. That's why I recommended you getting on and doing it.

Maybe leave out the password, then have them call you and you get on when they are running the script? That might be better.
