NBX V3000 pcXset (Soft Phone) audio problems

I have installed a soft phone on an office PC. It detects the call processor fine and pulls its extension information without any trouble. I have a microphone and earphones plugged into the PC.  When i try to make a call, I get a dial tone in my earphones, dial the softphone, and hear it ring. When the party answers however, I can't hear anything and they can't hear me. The volume just drops out entirely. This occurs with calls to internal extensions as well as external parties.

Anyone have any experience with these softphones and what might be happening?

Hi,

Seems to be a Codec problem. Which codecs have you enabled?

Solved this one.  It would not work when I tested it on the LAN, but when I installed it on a remote system connectd via VPN then it worked perfectly fine.
